Learning outcomes:

The graduates are able to:

  • manage the complexity of human-centric organisations and networks.
  • analyse, understand, and lead different organisational processes.
  • apply technological, economic, and human knowledge to resolve real-life challenges in industry and organisations.
  • navigate proactively in a socio-technical environment.
  • define the possibilities and challenges of societal and technological changes by combining technology and economics in a balanced way.
  • use different quantitative and qualitative methods like data analysis, impact assessment, creativity and arts-based methods, gamification, and foresight research for the innovative development of organisations or networks.
  • use various skills, including teamwork, effective communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving.
  • work in international networks of experts in different organisations and fields.
  • embrace life-long learning with curious mindset.

Content:

The degree is called Master of Science in Technology (M.Sc. Tech.), Diplomi-insinööri (DI) in Finnish:

  • A higher university degree, giving the students eligibility to apply for scientific doctoral studies
  • A total of 120 ECTS credits
  • Duration two years, full-time studies of 60 ECTS credits per academic year
