Facts

• This is a Master of Science in Technology (M.Sc. Tech.), (Diplomi-insinööri in Finnish) degree
• Higher university degree gives eligibility to apply for scientific doctoral studies
• Two degree certificates will be awarded: M.Sc. Tech./Diplomi-insinööri of 120 ECTS from Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology and M.Sc. Tech./Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria of 150 ECTS from Il Politecnico di Milano.

Degree Structure

Master's Programme in Chemical Engineering is arranged as a double degree programme. It includes courses from the following partner universities:
- Il Politecnico di Milano (Polimi), Italy
- Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (LUT), Finland.

The M.Sc. (120 ECTS) consists of core and advanced specialisation studies, and the advanced specialisation studies include a Master's thesis of 30 ECTS. Elective studies are not obligatory, but allowed.
