Learning outcomes:
After completion of the M.Sc. programme in Renewable Power-to-X Economy, the graduate is able to describe the resources and technologies of energy system, and their role in balancing production and consumption of electricity, and is able to apply the know-how in analyzing solutions of energy system. The graduate is able to measure wind and solar power plants, electrical energy storages and energy conversion systems, and design a control for them both at system and application level. Additionally, a graduate is able to describe the principles of conversion of green electricity to heat, fuels, chemicals etc.
A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is able to work independently and scientifically, acquire information and formulate solutions to complex problems and tasks. He/she has an ability to work as a member of team, is able to organise, carry out and lead projects and has the required communication skills. A Master of Science is aware of ethical aspects of the field and its effects on society, and is capable of critically assessing the future prospects of the field. The M.Sc. programme also prepares a student for postgraduate and independent studies.
